Lodge Facilities:
- Have breakfast in the guest dining room or on warm mornings enjoy breakfast in the sunken courtyard. The staff will be on hand to answer any questions and help you with you with any local information that you may need for the day.
- The guest lounge/dining room has been created out of Central Otago schist has a high vaulted ceiling, air-conditioning and is decorated with old farming implements. A log burner housed in a fireplace made from local schist stone provides that cosy feel of a real fire in the winter. The lounge is furnished with leather suites, oriental rugs together with flat screen TV, DVD and CD player and broadband internet access.
- Guests have use of the 7 acres of grounds. Recycled timber has been used to provide seating to relax and take in the spectacular scenery surrounding the lodge. A sunken courtyard, hot spa, and outdoor games are available in the grounds. Play our unique garden game and become "Lord of the Rings" if only for a moment. Several pieces of old farm machinery set in the landscape are a reminder of the rural setting.
- The lodge is situated on a no through access road with walking routes to
the Cardrona River easily accessible.
Indoors; games, books, CDs and DVDs are available for guests to use during their stay. Local maps, guidebooks and coffee table books are available so that you can plan where to visit in the area and beyond.

Guest SuitesEach of the seven guest suites has been individually styled creating a unique experience for you, their guests. Five suites have king size beds with two further suites having super king/twins. All beds are dressed with high quality bed linen. All suites have views toward the surrounding mountains including Mount Iron, Black Peak, Roy's Peak, Mount Gold, Mount Maude.
Each suite is heated with a heat pump/air conditioner to cater for guests individual preferences in heating and cooling and opens directly onto its own private patio or balcony.

Food @ Maple Lodge
Breakfast is informal but luxurious. Set yourself up for the day with a good breakfast. Choose from: tea (from a selection), coffee (good quality ground
coffee), fruit juice, cereal, toast, butter/spreads, jams (homemade when available),
muffins together with a range of cooked breakfast options and daily specialty
hot dishes such as: pancakes with bacon/fruit and maple syrup, eggs benedict
with smoked salmon etc.
Afternoon tea consists of homemade cakes/muffins together with tea/coffee/hot
chocolate/cold drinks served after a day on the slopes, sightseeing or walking.
Evening Drinks Enjoy a complimentary aperitif with your hosts before you enjoy
eating out at one of the many local restaurants.
Lunch and Evening Meals. They can provide a picnic lunch on request. Evening meals
are only available by prior arrangement with the hosts.

- A courtesy service to take guests into Wanaka in the evening is available.
- Airport pickup is available (Wanaka free of charge, Queenstown at an additional charge).
- A laundry service is available to guests as well as ironing facilities for guests use.

Catering
Catering can be supplied for any event from a "Celebration Dinner"
for groups of 6-14 through to wedding parties of up to 100 guests.
Location Information:
Maple Lodge is ideally located for access to local tourist sights such as Puzzling World, Have a Shot, Toy & Transport Museum, Air Museum, Lakes Wanaka and Hawea and the townships of Wanaka, Hawea and Albert Town. Numerous restaurants, shops and activities are available in the townships.
There are many sporting activities available to guests in the surrounding areas. An abundance of mountain bike tracks and walking trails are available whether for a short hike or tramps of a day or more. BaseCamp Wanaka provides an international standard indoor rock climbing with outdoor climbing being available in nearby areas such as at Hospital Flat. Local ski areas include Treble Cone, Cardrona, Snow Park, Snow Farm all within 25 minutes of the lodge.
Golf, sky-diving, paragliding, water skiing, kayaking and bungee jumping are all accessible within 15-30 minutes of the lodge.
All sounds a bit too active? Then why not try fruit picking, wine tasting, vineyard tours, scenic flight trips to Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound, as well as local river and lake trips.
They will be happy to help with any advice and are able to book any of the attractions and amenities available in the area and beyond on behalf of guests.
