Real Journeys offers three overnight cruise options at Milford Sound. Each cruise offers passengers a relaxing opportunity to explore the magnificent scenery and wildlife of Milford Sound. They do, however, differ in terms of accommodation – Milford Mariner private cabins with ensuite bathrooms (60 passengers), Milford Wanderer bunk style accommodation (61 passengers) and M.V. Friendship bunk-style accommodation (12 passengers).
Milford Mariner Overnight Cruises - Milford Sound
The Milford Mariner offers you a very special dinner, bed and breakfast experience. On board the Milford Mariner you will cruise the full length of this spectacular fiord to the Tasman Sea before anchoring for the night in sheltered Harrison Cove. With our nature guide you can go exploring in the tender craft and kayaks or simply relax on deck. After the days activities, enjoy a delicious evening buffet in the spacious saloon before retiring to your private cabin.

- Private cabins with ensuite bathrooms (two single beds or, if requested, one double bed) Two family rooms (4 bunks) available on request.

An overnight cruise on board the Milford Wanderer is a unique adventure. With our nature guide and friendly crew, you will cruise the full length of the fiord. Keep a lookout for wildlife, especially fur seals basking on the rocks. There is plenty of time available for you to go exploring in the kayaks and tender craft. As the shadows deepen the Milford Wanderer returns under sail (weather permitting) to Harrison Cove for the night. In our cosy saloon enjoy a delicious meal and socialise with other passengers.

MV Friendship Overnight Cuirses - Milford Sound
The M.V. Friendship is a small vessel with real character. You will cruise the full length of Milford Sound before anchoring for the night in Deepwater Basin. Beneath the towering presence of Mitre Peak, you can go kayaking around sheltered bays, venture ashore in the tender craft or simply sit back and unwind. As the day draws to a close, enjoy a delicious barbecue meal and share stories of the day’s adventures.
