NZ South Island skiing fields provide you with a choice between some of the well known skiing resorts near Queenstown. Coronet peak, The Remarkables or Cardrona which are all situated near New Zealand’s premier skiing and adventure centre. Treble Cone is close to the town of Wanaka. Both Queenstown accommodation and Wanaka accommodation lies on the shores of magnificent lakes and the scenery is spectacular. There is plenty of quality accommodation also available in both areas. There are many tours available, especially from Queenstown and a trip to Milford Sound or a cruise on Lake Wakatipu aboard the stem ship 'Earnslaw' to Walter peak station for a memorable dinner are a must. Further north, near the coastal city of Christchurch is the skiing resort of Mt Hutt. There is plenty of accommodation available in Christchurch and ski transfers are available on a daily basis to pick you up from your accommodation and deliver you to the mountain.
