2008 - 2009 Terms & Conditions
The Terms and Conditions documents (available for download at bottom of page) contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For detailed conditions, refer to the rental agreement upon vehicle collection.
PLEASE NOTE:- Car rentals are available from Auckland, Christchurch & Queenstown
- Rental Basis: 24 hours
- Minimum rental period is 3 days
- Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak periods
- All rates and conditions are subject to change as required and without prior notification
- Unlimited kilometres
- Vehicle insurance
- 12.5% GST
- Extra driver fees
- Airport transfers on upon vehicle collection and return
- One Way Fees

- Supermarket Discount Card
- Customer care 24 hour road-service helpline (toll free)
- Travel wallet including road maps and travel information
- New Zealand leading attractions map including discounts to iconic tourist attractions
- Free mountain bike hire available at selected Top Ten Holiday Parks
- Vehicle Excess Reduction Options
- Maui Premium Package of NZ$18 per day includes
Excess Reduction Option (excess reduced to NZ$220)
A security deposit (credit card imprint) of NZ$220 applies.

2008 - 2009 Insurance
All vehicles are insured for damage to the vehicle and third party property. You are responsible for the first NZ$1,800 (the excess).

Excess Reduction Option
For NZ$19 per day (maximum charge of NZ$570)
The excess is reduced to NZ$220. An imprint of your credit card is taken to this amount.
Premium Cover Option (PCO)
The Premium Cover Option is a one off fee of NZ$40 per hire. The Premium Cover Option is only available when the Excess Reduction Option has been purchased. The Premium Cover Option extends the cover available with the Excess Reduction Option so that the hirer will not have to pay any excess at all for any damage to the vehicle or property of a third party.
