The Quality Hotel Plymouth International is New Plymouth’s premier conference venue, and has the most up to date conference rooms available in any provincial city.
They have a range of fully air-conditioned conference rooms, from the Grand Ballroom (Taranaki’s only grand ballroom) which seats 450 to smaller meeting rooms. Each conference area is spacious and comes equipped with whiteboards, floor plugs and pull down screens.

They offer a number of excellent banqueting venues: The Grand Ballroom (Taranaki’s only grand ballroom) and the Poolside Rooms (next to the garden courtyard).
An experienced wedding co-ordinator and team will look after every detail including menus, seating arrangements, flowers and beverage selection. They also offer the services of their resident florist for table arrangements, pedestal arrangements and artistic floral dressing of their venues.

NEW PLYMOUTH
New Plymouth is Taranaki’s largest city and main port. It’s a picturesque and vibrant place with public artworks, galleries, festivals, gardens and shops.
Five minutes drive and within walking distance of the Quality Hotel Plymouth International is Pukekura Park – arguably New Zealand’s most beautiful cricket venue, adjoining stunning botanical gardens.
The New Plymouth town centre extends right to the waterfront, where the Tasman Sea washes up to the coastline. Extensive public areas and walkways allow you to take in the sea air. Also on the waterfront is the controversial 45 m high artwork by Len Lye, a New Zealand artist who pioneered kinetic sculpture and modernist film animation techniques.
On a clear day, the southern skyline is dominated by Mount Taranaki (Mount Egmont). Because of its stunning symmetrical shape, Mt Taranaki was used as the backdrop for the film The Last Samurai in place of Mt Fuji.
New Plymouth is unique in that it offers surfing and skiing within one hour’s drive.
