Cardrona's Kid Centres/Prices

Kids Centre (3 Months-3 Years) or "Nursery"
3 months-3 years; Licensed Early Childhood Centre.

The Nursery is Cardrona's original licensed Early Childhood Education Centre. Located in a prime spot for the children to view all the activity that goes on at Cardrona. The Nursery has a maximum roll of 24 children so bookings are essential. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided but you must provide lunch and a copy of the child's immunisation certificate. Older children can take part in the Childs Play programme from the Nursery.

In order to fairly manage the demand by parents for places in our Early Childhood Centres we do require a non refundable deposit of $25 per child per day. This will be charged on booking, with the balance to be paid on arrival.

Kids Centre (3-4 Years) or "Ski Korral"
3-4 years; Licensed Early Childhood Centre with some ski experience.

The Ski Korral provides an educational programme indoors and a ski experience outdoors. Each child usually has one ski lesson included daily. Additional lessons can be purchased if the child is energetic and enthusiastic. This ski lesson is a personilised confidence-building introduction to skiing. It allows the child to develop positive snow skills. It is a 1-on-1 experience with a professional instructor for 60 minutes. Ski equipment is supplied for the duration of the session at no charge. Full day care also includes lunch.

For children that are ready for learning with others and want more skiing we recommend the "Little Rippers" programme. This is best suited for mature four year olds. It involves 3 hours of lessons, usually 2 hrs in the a.m and 1hr in the p.m depending on weather and children's energy levels. This is a group situation with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 children, the same age and same level. The time on snow will get them firmly on the progression track. Again ski rental equipment is supplied at no charge for the duration of the programme.

Lift passes are FREE for all children Under 6 years of age and rental skis are supplied FREE with all Ski Korral programmes and Kids Korral Childs Play

Kids Centre (5-14 Years) or "Kids Club"
5-14 years; Full-day lessons with lunch, care and activities.

The Kids Club focus is on going skiing morning and afternoon with fun instructors and spending the times between refueling, creating and resting up. The Kids Club is 'their' place on snow, dedicated to making everyone's day on the slopes as good as it can be. The kids make lots of new friends and do heaps of skiing. Bookings are recommended. Kids Club multi day packages are also available which can include lift and/or rental.

Kids Programme Centre
9am till 4pm Monday to Thursday each week. Skiwees and Lowriders for children aged from 4 to 14 years.

Skiwees/Lowriders is an acccelerated development ski/board programme operating every Monday to Thursday each week. Children will have the same instructor and same group of children for the duration of the programme. Each child will be presented with a bandanna, photo and certificate on the last day.
