Slope Facilities

Pipe Park
The park consists of four pipes - The International, Rookie, Monser and the Johnny. The last two are built to the enlarged Superpipe dimensions, while the Rookie and International are shallower but still use the same transition for easy introduction and smooth ridin. Usually two pipes are in operation on any given day - one used exclusively by the High Performance Centre until mid-September, and the other open for public use. The pipes are normally shaped daily.

Terrain Parks
The Heavy Metal trail runs the length of the Whitestar Express on a purpose built terraced course. This trail is home to the larger rails and features, normally exceeding 8m in size.

The Playzone trail runs alongside the upper Heavy Metal Trail utilising smaller features. The Beginners trail, near the half pipe park, just for kids and first time freestylers.

Gravity Cross
An 800m sculptured track for skiers and boarders made up of banked corners, jumps and rollers.

Lift Passes

A day lift pass accesses the entire mountain and ALL the lifts.
Lift Passes Prices

Day Pass
A day pass also accesses all 3 Magic Learner lifts and the Beginner platter for the day. However generally first-time skiers who need to use these slopes are better off with a First-time pack.

Multi day passes: "4 out of 6" Pass
Multi day passes are VERY convienient. They create savings over 4 days of skiing while allowing flexibility within a one-week holiday for weather and other activities. The pass is validated as customers pass through the lift stations with our automated ticketing system. Therefore the customer does not have to go back to the ticket office everyday. If the pass is lost then we can alert all the lift stations and even reissue a pass with the correct number of remaining days if the client keeps their reciept from issue. Multi-day passes do expire if not used within the 6-day period and are not refundable unless the mountain is closed.

Multi day passes: "5 Day Anytime passes"
The 5 Day Anytime passes create savings and are best suited for someone on a longer holiday (more than one week) who wishes to be able to make savings on day pass prices yet retain maximum flexibility.

As the passes are issued in voucher form they will need to be validated daily. This process involves visiting ticketing services either in Wanaka, Queenstown or on the mountain daily to exchange the voucher for valid day lift pass.

Rental
To provide the latest technology for customers to experience, without having to purchase expensive equipment that is rarely used. Test equipment from leading manufacturers is also available for hire as well as a full workshop for repairs and tuning.
