There is only very limited accommodation at Cardrona Ski resort and this is usually booked out year on year. The nearest town to Cardrona is Wanaka and Wanaka accommodation is excellent, however it is limited and you will need to book well in advance. Many people skiing at Cardrona Alpine resort choose to stay in Queenstown accommodation as it is conveniently located close to the airport. These skiiers usually commute to Cardrona daily in a rental vehicle from Queenstown.
