Insurance
All vehicles are insured for damage to the vehicle and third party property. You are responsible for the first NZ$1,800 (the excess).
The Terms and Conditions documents (available for download at bottom of page) contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For detailed conditions, refer to the rental agreement upon vehicle collection.
Excess Reduction Option
For NZ$19 per day (maximum charge of NZ$570)
The excess is reduced to NZ$220. An imprint of your credit card is taken to this amount.
Premium Cover Option
The Premium Cover Option is a one off fee of NZ$40 per hire. The Premium Cover Option is only available when the Excess Reduction Option has been purchased. Note the Premium Cover Option is included in the Britz Bonus Pack. The Premium Cover Option extends the cover available with the Excess Reduction Option so that the hirer will not have to pay any excess at all for any damage to the vehicle or property of a third party.

PLEASE NOTE:- Car rentals are available from Auckland, Christchurch & Queenstown
- Rental Basis: 24 hours
- Minimum rental period is 3 days
- One-way rentals from the North Island to South Island are subject to a minimum of 7 days.
- Minimum rental periods are subject to change during peak periods
- All rates and conditions are subject to change as required and without prior notification
